The Mariandy is fortunate to have Nefeli beach just 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Nefeli beach has lovely golden sand and is very gently sloping into to the sea, which makes it great for families and all ages. You can enjoy a day at the beach and be back in the hotel in minutes when you’ve had enough. When you arrive at the beach, if you look to your right, you will see the area where the local municipality provide sunchairs and parasols for hire.
The most famous and very popular beach in Larnaca is Finikoudes, which is right in the center of the city. You can catch the bus from in front of the hotel into the city and it stops at Finikoudes. Again, you can hire sunchairs and parasols for the day.
Nefeli Beach
For Nefeli beach, cross over the road immediately in front of the hotel, slightly to the right hand side. Then follow the road/path 150 meters down to the beach. The total walking time is 5 minutes.
Finikoudes Beach
Finikoudes (Palm Tree) Beach is right in the heart of Larnaca and enjoys a long promenade running continuously for several kilometers all the way to Mackenzie beach. Finikoudes is lined with many kiosks, shops, cafes and restaurants. The golden sand and shallow, warm waters make for the perfect day. Take the bus from outside the hotel right the way to Finikoudes (15 minutes)
